The Neuroplasticity, Imagery, and Motor Behaviour Laboratory in conjunction with the Department of Psychology here at UBCO, and sponsored by the International Brain Research Organization/The Dana Foundation is organizing our second annual event for Brain Awareness Week on Friday, March 15, 2024, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign to foster the community’s enthusiasm and support for everything neuroscience! We are holding laboratory tours, a small, modified version of the “Brain Bee”, and catered snacks and beverages, for community members and students, including several other neuro-related organizations. For every correct brain-related question answered, attendees will be given a raffle ticket for their chance to win a variety of raffle prizes from local businesses including, Oxygen Yoga and Fitness, 19 Okanagan Grill and Bar, Bioshack, 1:1 personal training from Hayley Vera, Intrigue Wines, Rachel Marie Photography, OKGN Lifestyle and many more!
